United Way of Anderson County requires all Community Impact Grant Recipients to submit their most recent Form 990 and 501 C3 Letter. New applicants must submit their two most recent Form 990 filings and 501 C3 Letter.

Upon approval for funds United Way of Anderson County requires all Community Impact Grant Recipients to facilitate a workplace campaign. Furthermore, partner organizations are expected to include their participation as a United Way of Anderson County funded agency in communications and marketing materials.

United Way of Anderson County is committed to improving outcomes for ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) households. In the questions that follow, please describe the specific program or service for which you are requesting funding and explain how the proposed investment will contribute to improved quality of life for ALICE individuals and families. Please identify the population you intend to impact, the outcomes you seek to achieve, and the indicators you will use to measure success.

Description of Program or Service

Describe the proposed program or service, the community need being addressed, and how the program or service will improve outcomes for ALICE households in Anderson County.

List the specific outcomes you expect participants to achieve as a result of the program or service. Outcomes should be realistic, measurable, and directly connected to the identified need.

List the indicators you will use to measure progress and success. Explain how each indicator demonstrates achievement of the identified outcomes.

Describe your target population. Include: The percentage of participants who are ALICE households, The percentage of participants residing in Anderson County, The method used to identify and verify the target population

Describe how the proposed program or service advances one or more of United Way of Anderson County's Impact Areas: Healthy Communities, Youth Opportunities, Financial Security, and Community Resiliency.

What methods and techniques will be used to achieve desired outcomes for this program or service? Are your methods evidence based and recognized as best practice?

Describe how the proposed program or service introduces a new or substantially enhanced approach to a current community need. If the program or service is ongoing, describe the meaningful changes, expansion, or new strategies proposed for this funding cycle.

United Way of Anderson County wishes to support each organization at their desired level. However, with limited funds, our Community Impact Cabinet must make the difficult decision of whether to fund an organization’s program or service and at what level. No amount request may exceed $35,000 for this funding cycle.
