Abuse & Interpersonal Violence

Goal:  Ensure that all individuals live in safe environments.

• Support prevention and intervention programs that tackle abuse, interpersonal violence and relatd substance abuse.
• Support programs or efforts that encourage and increase individuals and family participation in interventions (such as counseling, classes, etc.) that prevent initiation or reoccurrence of abuse and violence.

Health

Goal:  Ensure that residents adopt and maintain healthy lifestyles and have access to health care resources.

• Support programs and efforts that inprove the quality and increase the availability of inclusive programs that promote healthy lifestyles based on best practices and science.
• Encourage and support collaborative efforts that support one or more of the following:

a) a reduction in the burden of preventable diseases and conditions

b) affordable access to primary care

c) affordable access to dental care

d) alliend health services

e) long term care services

f) senior care

g) mental health services
