AmeriCorps

United Way of Anderson County recently hired 11 new members into AmeriCorps. The AmeriCorps Graduate Anderson grant was awarded for grant year August 1, 2011 - July 31, 2012 in the amount of $125,944. the goal of the grant is to increase high school graduation rates/GED completion.

The new members and their assignments are:

Dottie Dean – Adult Education Success Center

Diana Coats – Adult Education Success Center

Stephanie Ertzberger – Mt. Lebanon Elementary School

Whitney Gaines – Anderson Interfaith Ministries

Alex Haymond – Anderson Interfaith Ministries

Arturowe Robinson – Adult Education Success Center

Arianna Seavy – IMPACT!

Jeannie Smith – Mt. Lebanon Elementary School

Julianne Westberry / June Stewart – Girl Scouts
