United Way of Anderson County recently hired 11 new members into AmeriCorps. The AmeriCorps Graduate Anderson grant was awarded for grant year August 1, 2011 - July 31, 2012 in the amount of $125,944. the goal of the grant is to increase high school graduation rates/GED completion.

  

The new members and their assignments are:

•  Dottie Dean – Adult Education Success Center

•  Diana Coats – Adult Education Success Center

•  Stephanie Ertzberger – Mt. Lebanon Elementary School

•  Whitney Gaines – Anderson Interfaith Ministries

•  Alex Haymond – Anderson Interfaith Ministries

•  Arturowe Robinson – Adult Education Success Center

•  Arianna Seavy – IMPACT!

•  Jeannie Smith – Mt. Lebanon Elementary School

• Julianne Westberry / June Stewart – Girl Scouts
• Dixie Williford – We Stand for Kids
• Angie Willingham – Alston Wilkes Society
